As state and local governments turn to building performance standards to improve the quality and performance of their existing building stock, property owners will need clear guidance on policy targets and requirements. Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) conducted a landscape review of 15 state and local BPS to assist those working in or supporting the multifamily sector, including but not limited to affordable and market-rate housing providers and their on-site staff.
