Policy Associate, Housing Stability and Resident Wellbeing
Lucas Asher is the Policy Associate, Housing Stability and Resident Wellbeing for Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future. He supports SAHF in identifying opportunities to better leverage resident services and service coordination in federal housing policy and programs and acts as the connection point between the Policy and Resident Health & Outcomes teams.
Prior to joining SAHF, Lucas worked for NewCourtland Senior Services, a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia, PA where he supported the development and operation of affordable housing for seniors and fostered collaboration between the organization’s health and housing divisions on various initiatives.
Lucas holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin where he wrote his honors thesis on the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Texas.
