Health Outcomes Associate
Claire Kaiden is the Health Outcomes Associate for Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future. She supports SAHF’s initiatives around resident outcomes by engaging multisector stakeholders in regional working groups to discuss topics around the social determinants of health. She also engages in SAHF’s sustainability strategies related to increasing utilization of healthy building materials and energy incentives in affordable housing. Additionally, she works with affordable housing organizations to enhance accountability and performance in service-enriched housing through the CORES certification.
Prior to joining SAHF, Claire conducted public health field research in South Africa, where she worked with local and national NGOs and community residents to build a framework for better access to tuberculosis medications at overpopulated clinics. She teaches flying trapeze and aerial silks circus arts in her free time.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of Virginia.
