SAHF Welcomes CommonBond Communities and Community Housing Partners

Washington, D.C. Tuesday January 17, 2017. Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members: CommonBond Communities and Community Housing Partners (CHP). Both organizations will play a key role in helping shape SAHF’s ongoing work of leading policy innovation and championing the delivery of safe, quality, rental homes that are affordable for low-income individuals, families and persons in need.

The addition of CommonBond Communities and Community Housing Partners will help SAHF continue to leverage the scale and reach of SAHF members, and demonstrate the positive impact that quality, safe affordable rental homes have on their residents.

Eileen Fitzgerald, SAHF’s CEO and President, commented on the addition of the two new members, “CommonBond Communities and Community Housing Partners have more than 40 years of affordable housing development, preservation and management experience, and we are truly honored to have both organizations join the SAHF network.” She continued, “SAHF members represent the top non-profit affordable housing developers in the nation.  Expanding SAHF’s membership to include both organizations was an obvious next step to enhance our collective impact. We look forward to leveraging CommonBond and Community Housing Partners’ on-the-ground experience, depth of knowledge and innovative leadership.”
