Our Team

Isabela Antonio supports the Policy Team by developing advocacy materials and policy briefings for SAHF members. She utilizes external communication through social media and messaging to communicate with SAHF’s members and key stakeholder groups. In this role, she helps advance SAHF’s mission as the primary project manager for tracking SAHF’s Racial Equity Pledge.
Prior to joining SAHF, Isabela worked as the Legislative Aide for a State Senator with the Maryland General Assembly. Within the Maryland Legislature, she directly supported the passage of legislation through written testimonies, advocacy meetings, and committee hearing tracking. At the forefront of her role was constituent assistance where she served as the main point of contact between constituents and Maryland state agencies. She advocated for constituent needs in different arenas including housing assistance, unemployment aid, and more.
While in the Maryland Legislature, she previously worked as a Delegation Secretary in the Maryland House of Delegates and worked for the House Ways and Means Committee for the 2021 Legislative Session. Isabela holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Washington College.
