In this role, Erin will focus on SAHF’s various environmental initiatives and support the Energy & Sustainability Team in their work around decarbonization. Her work is centered around identifying the best practices & innovative models in green building models and healthy housing.
Prior to joining SAHF, Erin served as a Community Engagement Fellow for Inclusivv, a tech startup focused on hosting tough conversations to create stronger and more inclusive communities. She worked directly on Inclusivv's partnership with Georgia's Division of Family and Children Services in creating and delivering equitable, actionable solutions to preventing abuse and neglect in coordination with Georgia’s Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan (CANPP). She was able to reach different stakeholders to engage them in conversations on unique community-focused issues.
Erin holds a Master of Public Administration, with a concentration in Urban Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Savannah State University. During her time at Savannah State, Erin was recognized as the 2019 Food-Energy-Water Nexus Fellow for the Global Sustainability Scholars, where she did international sustainability research on food access.
