Our Team
As a member of the Energy & Sustainability team at SAHF, Alex works with SAHF members to identify and elevate innovative practices that support lower energy and water costs, carbon reductions, improved indoor environments, and other owner and resident benefits.
Prior to joining SAHF, Alex worked as a senior research analyst for local policy at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). At ACEEE, he supported the development of the City Clean Energy Scorecard and led research on strategies to help the affordable housing sector comply with building performance standards. He provided technical assistance to local governments and community-based organizations through ACEEE’s Energy Equity for Renters initiative.
Alex holds a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Literature from American University.
